Comment on The Coming Political Crisis in the USA by Shalom Freedman

Biden has just chosen Kamala Harris as his running mate. This is probably the best choice for Israel of the candidates highly touted.
The United States needs now someone who will try to be something impossible, the President of all the people, a healer. Perhaps Biden will to some degree try to be this.
You have many good reasons why the US may now be on the verge of tearing itself apart. I pray this will not be so, as this will be bad or the world as a whole and Israel and the Jewish people, especially.
The US has come back from periods of great division in the past, most painfully the Civil War, and I would like to think it will do it this time also. But I have no real feeling of what will in fact happen, and even if I had such a feeling I would not trust my own judgment.
The course of human events, as I understand it does not follow a logical path, but usually is in great part determined by the unexpected.
