I am a bit surprised that you are arguing this point about NYTimes editorializing its news stories as if there were something new about it. The Times has long been on the side of ’tilting the news’. We must remember above all their deliberate under- reporting of the Shoah.
But what is especially alarming today is that the process of having to distort reality to fit the politically correct ideologically strait-jacket has taken over newsrooms all over America. It is similar to what has happened to many university departments especially in the Humanities. If you do not fit into the group-think you are out.
